What we do

About the agency
  1. 01

    Concept

We develop formats from the first idea onwards, for theatres, festivals, cities and companies. We put the team together from our own artists.

    • Ideas and formats
    • Creative teams from a single source
    • Budget and schedule planning from day one
  2. 02

    Management

We represent direction, stage, music, video and choreography. Contracts, dates, travel and rights are in our hands, so our people can get on with the work.

    • Contracts, fees and rights
    • Planning across several seasons
    • One dedicated contact
  3. 03

    Production

We produce ourselves: technology, permits, crafts and running order, from the rehearsal room to the last get-out.

    • Production management and technology
    • Permits and safety
    • Accounts and documentation

Small, on purpose.

stagerepublic was founded in Berlin in 2014. We only represent as many artists as we truly know: their work, their plans and the teams they do their best work with.

About the agency

“We found an entire creative team through stagerepublic. They already knew each other, and you could tell in every rehearsal.”

Ulrike Hessling, Artistic director

Planning a production?

Tell us what it is about: the piece, the occasion or the idea, the venue and the dates. We will come back to you with suitable artists or a whole team, usually within two working days.
